Robots make sense, but not this one

I don't see why a robot should have a human-like shape. This introduces high technical challenges and too much complexity compared with a wheeled rover. And yes, it makes more sense to send robots to the moon, now that it has been conquered by the United States 40 years ago.

Always send a robot to do a man's job?

Could it be that Americans are becoming so unadventurous that in future no one is going to get out of bed to live their lives, they will just send robots to do it for them.

I have nothing against the use of robots in their place, but the overall plan has to be to get us (preferably me, but I'm to old) out there. It looks like America has now dropped the ball. Presumably most Americans will be returning to their countries of origin soon. Colonisation is so 1490s!

P.S. Go China!
