Private Manned Space Transportation

I'd like to submit for a topic PMST: Private Manned Space Transportation.

This would include: consumers in space, the coming space consumer mass market (Madison Avenue take note!), civilian/nonmilitary activity in space, American citizens in space, citizens of other nations in space, ordinary people in space, the public in space, commercial passenger spaceflight (my own area), space cars, spacelines (like airlines), and space tourism.

Private means not the government. It includes corporate and nonprofit organizations as well as individual and families in space.

Manned includes women of course. Most people find humanned to be excessively PC but I'm all for womanned spaceflight (there are several woman-owned space companies) and women in space.

Space transportation should include not just rockets but other forms of transportation like spaceplanes, space elevators, laser propulsion, and some newer proprietary ways of getting out of the gravity well.
